Deputies seek witnesses to Cold Springs fight

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_log-2696719-6783063The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information from the public to assist with the ongoing investigation of an incident that took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. this morning in the area of Georgetown Drive and Village Parkway in Cold Springs.

According to sheriff’s deputies, Edden Gonzales-Baer, age 55 and of Asian descent, is suspected of attacking her husband while driving in a red van on Village Parkway. Both persons exited the vehicle, and the altercation continued into the street before witnesses contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Gonzales-Baer then fled the scene and was later arrested in Reno.

Deputies are asking that anyone who witnessed this incident, or may have information useful to the investigation, contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division at (775) 328-3350 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
