RTC NEWS RELEASE

rtc-8691752-4314099To encourage a safe St. Patrick’s Day, RTC’s regularly scheduled transit services will be free from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday, March 17. The free service on RTC transit services is made possible with support from community sponsors. RTC SIERRA SPIRIT service will be extended until midnight.

The 11th annual St. Patrick’s Day Safe RIDE supports the statewide initiative Zero Fatalities Drive Safe Nevada helping to make our streets and highways safe for everyone. The Northern Nevada DUI Task Force, Ceol Irish Pub, KOLO 8 TV and Cumulus radio stations Magic 95.5, K-Bull 98.1, Wild 102.9 and KOH News Talk AM 780 make the free transit service possible with the goal to eliminate impaired driving and the tragic consequences of driving under the influence.
