Pack hosts Mountain West co-leader New Mexico today

image001-5087000-7401155White out Sunday as Nevada hosts MW co-leader and #25 New Mexico:  Sunday is a white out game as Nevada (13-15, 8-7 MW) hosts #25 and Mountain West co-leader New Mexico (22-5, 13-2 MW) at 3:02 p.m.  The Lobos defeated the Wolf Pack 90-72 on Feb. 15 in Albuquerque, N.M.   UNM is tied with San Diego State atop the MW standings at 13-2 while the Pack is in a three-way tie for fourth at 8-7.  The game will air on ESPN3.

 

Student attendance challenge for Metzker Family Fund:  All Nevada students are asked to join the student attendance challenge on Sunday to raise money for the Metzker Family Fund.  A group of local businesses have pledged to donate various amounts of money for every student in attendance at the white out game versus New Mexico.  The first 7,500 fans will receive a white out shirt.

SERIES HISTORY: New Mexico leads the series 3-0.  The Lobos won the first meeting this season 90-72 on Feb. 15 in Albuquerque, N.M.   The Lobos won both games last season 75-62 at home on Feb.  2 and by the identical score of 75-62 in Reno on March 6.

UP NEXT: Nevada travels to Boise State on March 5.  The game will air on the Mountain West Network.
