Regional Gang Unit makes graffiti arrests in Sparks

1300123_fff2-1588402-3154331Over the past several weeks the D’Andrea area in Sparks has been the target of vandals placing gang graffiti on businesses, residences, vehicles and schools. This has resulted in thousands of dollars in property damage to the area.

An investigation by the Regional Gang Unit has led to the arrest of three suspects for numerous graffiti charges. Arin Rice, 19, and two male juveniles were arrested.

The Regional Gang Unit comprises officers from the Washoe County School Police, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and both the Sparks and Reno Police Departments.
