RPD NEWS RELEASE
Reno Police, Reno Fire and REMSA were called to the Austin Crest Apartments in northwest Reno at about 1 a.m. today on the report of an incident that resulted in a 17-year-old being shot. Reno Police had been called to the area of the apartment complex less than an hour earlier on the report of a suspicious subject.
The shooter has been identified and interviewed, but the circumstances of both incidents are still under investigation. No arrests have been made, and investigators are asking anyone having information regarding either incident to call the Reno Police Department or Secret Witness.
