RPD NEWS RELEASE
Detectives of the Reno Police Department Sex Crimes Unit began receiving reports in November of inappropriate touching by a nurse’s assistant during pre-employment screenings at a local clinic. An investigation was launched as additional patients began to report similar incidents.
The defendant was contacted and admitted to not following proper procedures that resulted in the inappropriate contact. The defendant, identified as Jose Alberto Machado, 27, was booked for five counts of (NRS 201.210) Open & Gross Lewdness.
