The Rebels lead the overall series between the two women’s basketball programs 26-6 and have won the previous six meetings. Nevada’s last victory came at home during the 2007-08 season in an 84-63 win. UNLV is led by junior guard Danielle Miller’s 13.5 points per game.

All home games are available to watch online for free through the Mountain West Network via NevadaWolfPack.TV. A free Stretch Internet audio broadcast is available at http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/nevada.portal.

On October 8, 2012 Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval announced the launch of the Governor’s Series, presented by NV Energy. This historic, new competition establishes a formal head-to-head athletic and academic challenge between longtime rivals — the UNLV Rebels and the Nevada Wolf Pack. The all-encompassing competition will annually crown one school the winner of the Governor’s Series. UNLV currently leads the series 9-3. Nevada earned its three points in cross country.
