Update: Sheriff’s Detectives seek possible witnesses in suspicious death investigation

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_log-5825084-1391272WCSO NEWS — Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations and Investigations Division are attempting to contact three individuals who may be able to provide information useful to the ongoing investigation of a suspicious death that occurred in Incline Village on Sunday, December 22, 2013.

Investigators stressed that these individuals are not suspects in this case, however they may be able to provide information useful to the investigation.

The individuals, described as three white males, were occupants of a dark-colored SUV that was parked in front of the 7-Eleven Store located at Tahoe and Village Boulevards shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013.

Detectives believe these individuals provided transportation for an additional person of interest in the investigation, described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie and shorts, from the 7-Eleven to a location on College Drive.

The individuals in question, or persons with information about the identification and location of these individuals, are asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320.

Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations and Investigations Division are conducting an investigation into a suspicious death that occurred over the weekend in Incline Village.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 22, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to a report of a suspicious death on the 900 block of Northwood Boulevard in Incline Village. When Deputies arrived, they found a male adult identified as Christopher Elliott, age 46, deceased on the front porch of his residence.

Determination of cause of death is pending by the Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time investigators say that it does not appear as if a firearm or cutting device was involved in this incident.

No suspects are in custody at this time,
