Sheriff’s detectives arrest Reno man for felony child abuse

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_logoThe Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division arrested Charles Burke Wholey, 24, of Reno yesterday on a felony count of Child Abuse Causing Substantial Bodily Harm for an incident in which the victim was the suspect’s infant son.

The victim was brought to a local emergency room on Tuesday. Detectives were called to investigate, and the investigation has led to the arrest of Wholey.
