Reno Police are investigating the death of a man involved in an altercation with security personnel at the Eldorado Casino a week ago.
Reno Police officers responded to a trespassing call at the Eldorado Casino at about 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. When they arrived, they noted the subject had been injured in a physical altercation and was in medical distress. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died. He has since been identified as Victor Victoria-Acevedo, 22.
According to a Reno Police news release, ongoing investigation has revealed the altercation was between Victoria-Acevedo and security personnel from the Bubinga Nightclub at the Eldorado. Robbery/homicide detectives are interviewing several witnesses and subjects related to this case.
The manner and cause of death are pending the final medical examiner’s report.
