Indoor go-kart center opens Dec. 20 in Reno

RENO, Nev. — Need 2 Speed electric indoor go-kart racing will open its doors at 11 a.m. Dec. 20 at 6895-B Sierra Center Parkway.

The new go-kart center offers kids’ karts capable of 25 mph and adult karts capable of 45 mph. The Need 2 Speed track offers a Grand Prix-style racing experience. The facility uses Pro Score electronic scoring that allows drivers to measure their skills against others who have raced at Need 2 Speed. Guests can race for fastest time of the week, fastest time of the month or try for the top of the Need 2 Speed ranking system. Scores also are accessible through the Need 2 Speed website.

The facility also has private rooms for corporate meetings, birthday parties and other social and team-building events.
