rtc-300x75-7940366-6813368RTC NEWS — The Regional Transportation Commission and its Safe RIDE partners strongly encourage revelers to avoid drinking and driving for everyone’s safety on New Year’s Eve.

The RTC is offering free bus rides on RTC RIDE, RAPID and SIERRA SPIRIT this New Year’s Eve night from 6 pm to 2 am which is made possible through the generous support of its sponsors who have completely underwritten the cost of the annual holiday service, now in its 29th year. RTC SIERRA SPIRIT will operate on its regular schedule until 7 pm.

“With the support of our sponsors, we’re very proud we can offer this invaluable community service to promote Zero Fatalities and avoid serious vehicle injuries and DUI traffic violations,” said Lee Gibson, RTC Executive Director.
