Nevada Men’s Basketball to host season opener against Pacific Tigers

Wolf Pack logoNevada hosts Pacific on Friday night in the opener for the 2013-14 season for both schools.  The Pack posted a 12-19 mark last season while the Tigers went 22-13 a year ago and earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament.

SERIES HISTORY: Pacific leads the series with the Wolf Pack 53-45 including 78-72 overtime victory in Stockton, Calif. last season.  Nevada is 1-4 in the last five games with the victory being a 78-54 home win in 2011.

UP NEXT: Nevada plays its first of three road games at Cal Poly on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.  The Pack is at San Francisco on Nov. 15 and Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 18.
