Silver Stage Co-Op changes store hours, meeting times for winter

Silver Stage Co-Op Association

SILVER SPRINGS — Silver Springs now has a community-owned store where locals get to make the decisions, create  jobs and contribute  to local agriculture.

The Silver Stage Co-Op Association has a natural foods buying club that carries products from Northern Nevada farmers through the Distributors of Regional & Organic Produce and Products program. The co-op also manages a store front offering nutritious food at reasonable prices.

Some recent changes:

Changes to Co-Op Calendar: Co-Op members voted in a few changes to the Silver Stage Co -Op calendar during their Oct. 14, 2013 meeting at the regional food Co -Op.
New Store Hours: The Co-Op Store will now be opened on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 10:00am to 2:00 pm.
Buyers Club: The Co-Op Buyers Club meets at noon on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
New Co-Op Meeting Times: The 3rd Saturday of each month will now be the Co -Op Meeting Day.

Information: For anyone wishing to volunteer, join the Co-Op or needing more information, email [email protected] or come to the next meeting Saturday, November 16 at 10:30 am  at the co-op store at Spruce Avenue and Ramsey Weeks Cutoff.
