Shakespeare’s “Foolish Mortals” Casting Call

SIERRA SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS NEWS RELEASE – On November 3 and 6, the Sierra School of Performing Arts is casting for their production of Shakespeare’s “Foolish Mortals.” Auditions on November 3 will be conducted from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On November 6, auditions are from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The location is Bishop Manogue High School’s Music Room, 110 Bishop Manogue Drive, Reno, and open to students 12 years of age and up and adults of all ages.

Those auditioning are asked to prepare 1-2 minute monologues, Shakespeare is preferred but not required, and should also be prepared to “cold” read. Head-shots are requested, either 5″x 7″ or 8.5″x 11″. An audition form and release are available at www.sierraschoolofperformingarts.org. Minors must bring a signed audition form and release authorized by a parent or guardian

The show is March 6, 7, 8 and 9, at the Laxalt Theater, located at 401 W. Second Street, in Reno. Please note, you only need to audition on one day. If you cannot attend this audition please contact the Sierra School of Performing Arts to send a video audition.
