Country singer Moe Bandy to perform Nov. 9 in Minden

MINDEN, Nev. — Country music artist-performer Moe Bandy will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Carson Valley Inn Ballroom. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

Brandy’s hits include “Bandy the Rodeo Clown,” “Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life,” and “Till I’m Too Old to Die Young.” He has 10 No. 1 hits, 40 Top 10 hits and five gold albums to his credit, among other accolades. Tickets cost $22, and are available at the Carson Valley Inn, 1627 U.S. 395 in Minden or by calling 775-783-6606.

The Carson Valley Inn also is offering a Moe Brandy Weekend Hotel Package for two that includes a hotel room for Friday and Saturday (Nov. 8 and 9), $50 in total dining credit, a private meet-and-greet with Bandy before the show with complimentary cocktails and two tickets to the Nov. 9 concert. The package costs $99 per person double occupancy plus tax. The offer is for those ages 21 and older, and there is limited availability. Details: 775-783-6629.

Carson Valley Inn is on U.S. 395 in Minden, Nev., near the start of Nevada state Route 88, 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe’s south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno. The property includes a casino, sports and race book, 149-room hotel, 74-room motor lodge, 59-site RV park and a convenience store with Shell gas and diesel fuel. There also are banquet and meeting rooms and services plus three dining facilities: CV Steak, CVI’s Nevada-style steak house featuring steaks, seafood, pasta dishes and more; Katie’s for 24-hour dining; and Job’s Perk for coffee drinks, pastries and sundries.
