After bye week, Nevada heads to Boise to face familiar foe

THE SKINNY

Coming off a bye week, the Nevada football team heads to Boise State for a nationally televised tilt against the Broncos on Saturday … Wolf Pack wide receiver Brandon Wimberly will be looking to extend streaks of consecutive games with a reception (46) and consecutive games with a touchdown catch (5) … Quarterback Cody Fajardo is coming off the top two passing performances of his career with 782 yards and five touchdowns over the last two games … Fajardo is one of four quarterbacks nationally who has not thrown an interception this year and his streak of 158 attempts without a pick is the third longest in the nation … Nevada had a 300-yard passer (Fajardo), two 100-yard receivers (Wimberly and Richy Turner) and a 100-yard rusher (Kendall Brock) in its overtime loss at San Diego State last time out … Nevada has not won in Boise since 1997 … This is the second of three appearances for Nevada on the CBS Sports Network.
