The Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation is pleased to announce the grand opening of the William N. Pennington Dental Wing with a news conference, dedication and ribbon cutting event on Thursday, Sept. 26. Invited guests are invited to tour the renovated facilities.
The William N. Pennington Dental Wing is the home of TMCC’s dental assisting and hygiene programs; both programs boast 100 percent job placement rates for graduates seeking employment. These high-ranking educational programs also help provide free dental services to those who may not have dental care.
This is the first major gift from the Pennington Foundation demonstrating a partnership and investment dedicated to strengthening Nevada’s dental health industry through economic diversification, education and private industry.
The Chamber ambassadors will officiate at the ribbon cutting joined by TMCC president Dr. Maria C. Sheehan, Pennington Foundation representatives, Northern Nevada Dental Association representatives, faculty and students.
