Boys & Girls Club to benefit from Vintage Nevada Sept. 27

Vintage Nevada LogoOne of northern Nevada’s most celebrated events, Vintage Nevada, returns Sept. 27  from 5  to  8 p.m. with a new location, Tuscany Ballroom at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is the official benefactor of the 23rd annual event where attendees enjoy hundreds of specialty wines, beers and spirits, alongside a large selection of hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts and partake in silent and live auctions.

The event organized by Southern Wine & Spirits raises funds for the club, which serves more than 11,000 children annually in northern Nevada. Tickets are available online at www.VintageNevada.com for $50; $60 at the door.

“We are extremely excited for this year’s event, which will raise additional funds for the Boys & Girls Club and kids in our community as a whole,” said Tony King, general manager, Southern Wine & Spirits. “This year’s event brings an exciting new location, new vendors and an impressive auction including trips, collectibles, wine and more.”

The 23rd annual Vintage Nevada event features wines from around the world, specialty beers, ales, lagers and premium liquors from a variety of purveyors. Vintage Nevada also offers attendees festive hors d’oeuvres, delicious entrees and elegant desserts from Reno’s finest casino restaurateurs and retail establishments as well as exciting auctions including culinary trips, VIP winery visits and other cultural experiences. In addition, all Vintage Nevada attendees receive free admission to Edge Nightclub following the event.

Vintage Nevada tickets can be purchased online or at these retail locations: L’Uva Bella Wine Shop, both Whispering Vine Wine Shops, Ben’s on Lakeside and Ben’s on South Virginia. In Carson City, tickets can be purchased at Aloha Discount Liquor Store. One lucky winner will win two Vintage Nevada tickets and one night stay at the Peppermill through a social media contest via the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Facebook page: www.facebook.com/PositivePlace.
