Friday Festival Club Fair – Friday, Aug. 30
4-7 p.m., Historic Quadrangle
The University of Nevada, Reno offers more than 220 clubs and organizations. Many of them will be represented during the Friday Festival. There will be refreshments, activities and many representatives from the Associated Students of the University of Nevada, Reno (ASUN) with information on how students can get involved with the University.

Nevada at UCLA Viewing Party – Saturday, Aug. 31
7 p.m., Joe Crowley Student Union Theatre, Third Floor
Students are invited to view the Nevada Wolf Pack v. University of California, Los Angeles Bruins game on the big screen in the Joe Crowley Student Union Theatre for free; the public will be admitted for a small fee. Cantina del Lobo will serve buffet-style food that can then be carried into the theatre and enjoyed while watching. Cheer your Nevada football team on as they defeat the UCLA Bruins!

Paint the “N” and Barbecue – Sunday, Sept. 1
10 a.m.-1 p .m., Joe Crowley Student Union and Peavine Mountain
Students will show their University spirit by painting Nevada’s landmark “N” on Peavine Mountain. Students will meet in front of the Joe Crowley Student Union at 10 a.m. and will be shuttled to the peak. After the painting is done, the shuttle will return to the Student Union and students will enjoy a hard-earned barbecue.

Multicultural Greek Council Yard Show – Tuesday, Sept. 3
7 p.m., Joe Crowley Student Union Gateway Plaza
Student members of the University of Nevada, Reno’s Multicultural Greek Council chapters will show off their stepping, strolling and dancing skills at this fun, high-energy event.

Get Your Health On! – Wednesday, Sept. 4
11 a.m.-1 p.m., Joe Crowley Student Union Plaza
Students are encouraged to learn about their health with a free wellness assessment – blood pressure, body composition and calorie calculation. They will learn how to eat healthy on campus, stay young with information on skin care and respect their bodies with sex education information. Students can de-stress with the oxygen bar and discover ways to stay stress free. Staff from the Lombardi Recreation Center and Campus Escort will be on hand to share how to stay fit and safe. The event provides information to students on how to keep their bodies and minds fit.
