SUBMITTED NEWS — This summer, one woman, one horse, and one dog set out on an adventure of a lifetime. The trio began on the Utah border and journeyed across Nevada – up and over 14 mountain ranges, ending in Reno one month later.
Along the way, they battled wild weather, wild animals, and wild terrain – in an effort to encourage wild horse adoption. Local equestrienne Samantha Szesciorka will give a detailed presentation on her 450-mile solo horseback ride at the Wilbur D. May Museum. Find out about the challenges of the trail, see photos and videos, and ask questions.
