Stabbing on 4th St.

RPD NEWS — On Tuesday, August 13th, 2013, at approximately 9:17 am Reno Police Officers were called to a report of a stabbing in the 200 Block of E. 4th St.  Upon arrival, Officers located a female victim who had been stabbed.  The female was transported to the hospital, and sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the stabbing.  

There were a number of witnesses in the area who gave detail descriptions of the suspect.  Reno Police Officers were able to locate the suspect within two minutes of the initial call.  He was arrested for Battery with a Deadly Weapon without incident.  The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are still under investigation.  

The Reno Police Department would like to thank the witnesses who stepped forward to assist police.  Their assistance led to a quick apprehension.
