MOANA NURSERY NEWS RELEASE – A great selection of unique and award-winning iris will be available for purchase Saturday, August 3. Iris are easy to grow, require little maintenance and love the high desert. Society members will be on hand to answer all your questions about how to grow iris in our climate and which types grow best. They will recommend fertilizers, tools, shovels and spades as well as explain when it’s best to dig and separate iris for the very best blooms for years to come. All proceeds benefit the High Desert Iris Society. The sale takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., inside Moana Nursery at 100 W. Moana Lane, Reno.
