Galas, is a 6-foot-1, 280-pound junior who started all 13 games for the Wolf Pack in 2012 and helped pave the way for the second-leading rushing in the nation in Stefphon Jefferson. He manned the middle
for an offensive line that allowed just 1.38 sacks per game (28th in the nation) and led the way for the nation’s No. 8 offense at 514.85 yards per game.

Galas is one of five players from the Mountain West, which is tied with the Pac-12 for the second-most players per conference on the list. The SEC has nine players on the list. Galas was included in the award’s initial spring watch list.
