These wild horses have migrated about 10 miles outside the HMA to the Fish Springs area and are impacting private property.

“The purpose of this meeting is to discuss further the alternatives identified at the last workshop BLM held,” said Leon Thomas, Sierra Front Field Manager. “We welcome everyone interested in these horses and property owners so that we may have a well-rounded discussion.”

Fish Springs is located about three miles southeast of Gardnerville, Nev. The Fish Springs volunteer Fire Station is located at 2149 Fish Springs Road in Gardnerville, Nev.
