Mike Weaver, I Am They in concert at Sparks church Friday night

On Friday, June 14, Spirit Filled Church will be the concert venue for Mike Weaver, the frontman for the contemporary Christian band and Fervent Records artists Big Daddy Weave. He’ll be joined by worship group I Am They, who hail from Carson City.

Friday’s show is presented by Connected Music Ministries, also based in Carson City.

Just last week, Big Daddy Weave won the national K-LOVE radio network’s Song of the Year for “Redeemed.” This is in addition to previous Dove and ASCAP awards garnered by the band. Weaver lists Sting, Bruce Hornsby, John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt and Marc Cohen among his influences.
