NCOT NEWS — The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, in collaboration with the Center for Railroad Photography & Art based in Madison, WI, presents a visually remarkable photo exhibit titled “Steam: An Enduring Legacy, the Railroad Photographs of Joel Jensen.” Its 25 dramatic black-and-white images evoke the immense mechanical power of locomotives and demonstrate the human component needed to keep the trains operating in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Ely artist’s dramatic photographs beautifully capture the spirit of American railroading throughout the West. They will be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wabuska Depot at the museum, 2180 S. Carson St. For more information, call 687- 6953 or visit museums.nevadaculture.org. Admission to the photo exhibit is free.
