Experienced local “ghostwriter” leads dynamic two day writing course for kids

Date:

DRAWN2IMAGINE NEWS RELEASE – Two creative Reno businesses have linked up to offer a one-time-only summer book-writing class for kids, July 9 and 11. Hosted by art enthusiasts Drawn2Imagine: Fine Art Academy for Kids & Teens, this exclusive short-story writing class will bring the talents of one of the area’s most experienced and internationally published ghostwriters. Bill West, owner and lead writer at GhostWest, will lead a limited number of participants through this dynamic, engaging and fun creative writing class.

Participants will explore different genres of age-appropriate creative writing and develop two short stories (one fiction and one non-fiction). After work-shopping and improving their writing throughout the class, participants will finalize their stories to be part of a printed collection unique to this class. Each student will end the class with a printed copy of their stories and the stories of their classmates (complete with class-created cover and interior illustrations).

For more information and signup, visit Drawn2Imagine Here! This class is sure to be the top writing classes in Reno this summer.

Having taught at the University of Nevada and the University of Phoenix, Bill has now adapted his strategies of teaching creative writing to create this exclusive class for Kids-N-Art students. A supporter and volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, Bill fills any free time he can salvage with teaching and mentoring the area’s youth.
