Entrepreneurship Nevada (EN) today welcomed Dave Archer as its new Board Chair. Archer will be working to support the numerous entrepreneurial efforts in northern Nevada, and serve as an ambassador between Entrepreneurship Nevada’s activities and the general public. Archer’s award-winning involvement in Reno’s entrepreneurial network will strengthen the impact EN has in our community.
Archer is President and Chief Executive Officer of NCET – Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneur- ship and Technology. NCET is an award-winning state-wide non-profit organization that helps Nevadans start and grow businesses through educational programs and by connecting them with the resources they need to succeed. Dave said, “I’m excited to be involved with such a tremendous organization that has accomplished so much in such a short time. EN is working diligently to identify and support the entrepreneurial eco-system that supports business and job creation throughout northern Nevada. I am looking forward to working with the broad range of organizations and community leaders who participate in EN.”
In his new position, he will work closely with organizations such as EO, SCORE, Nevada’s SBDC, NCET, NIREC, and E-Minds to develop a collaborative community hub for entrepreneurs.

Archer has over 40 years’ experience in all facets of US and international product and market development. Dave holds an MBA with honors in Marketing and a BA in Management from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. He also holds AS degrees in Electronics Engineering and Broadcast Engineering from the College of San Mateo in San Mateo, CA.
Archer is the co-founder of the Reno Angels and a member of Morrison University’s Management Advisory Board and the State of Nevada’s EPSCoR Advisory Committee. He is Past President of the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association. Previous awards include Nevada Nonprofit News’ “Nonprofit Executive of the Year” and the Reno-Tahoe AMA’s “Marketer of the Year.”
