Variety of native and ornamental plants at annual Wilbur D. May Arboretum Plant Sale

dsc_0014-490x325-1943929-2352721WILBUR D. MAY ARBORETUM NEWS RELEASE  – Spring is taking root at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden and the annual Plant Sale is in full bloom! The popular public sale features a huge variety of native and ornamental plants, vegetables, and trees — all adapted for the Truckee Meadows region. May Arboretum Society members will also be on hand to offer help you choose the right plant for your space and offer advice.

Cash or checks only please. Proceeds from the sale go to the May Arboretum and Botanical Garden for special projects. This year, the proceeds will help upgrade the Song Bird Garden.

What: Annual Plant Sale

When: 8:00 a.m. – Noon, on Saturday, June 1, 2013

Where: Wilbur D. May Arboretum, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, 1595 N. Sierra Street, Reno
