RENO-TAHOE OPEN NEWS RELEASE
Just a few days remain for veterans from all branches of the military to apply for the chance of a lifetime with the Reno-Tahoe Open’s “Doctors Supporting Troops” pro-am program. Nominations are due Monday, May 27, Memorial Day, and veterans may nominate themselves or be nominated by another person.
Selected by the doctors, winners receive a spot in the coveted Reno-Tahoe Open Wednesday Pro-Am along with overnight accommodations at the Eldorado Resort and an invitation to the exclusive Pro-Am Pairings Party Tuesday, July 30. In addition, all nominated persons receive a golf clinic at Somersett Golf & Country Club on Flag Day, June 14. The sponsoring doctors act as caddies to the group and cater to the golfers’ every need as the foursome negotiates one of the PGA TOUR’s longest courses – Montrêux – a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design.
