VIRGINIA CITY NEWS RELEASE – Memorial Day weekend kicks off in Virginia City, Saturday, May 25. Festivities start with the second annual Virginia City Wine Walk at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Heroes Parade taking place down C Street, the historic town’s main drive, honoring our United States heroes. The parade begins at 12:00 p.m. in front of Fourth Ward School.
Glasses for the wine walk are sold in Delta Saloon parking lot until 3:30 p.m. The walk lasts until 5:00 p.m. with 21 participating locations. Early bird tickets may be purchased online for $15 until Thursday, May 23. Regular price is $20.
