Community leaders honored at 22nd annual Salute to Women of Achievement

NEVADA WOMEN’S FUND NEWS RELEASE – Today the Nevada Women’s Fund announced that tables and individual tickets are available for the 22nd annual Salute to Women of Achievement luncheon being held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at John Ascuaga’s Nugget.

The Nevada Women’s Fund will honor 59 women from throughout northern Nevada at the annual luncheon which recognizes the honorees’ personal, professional and community achievements. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Tererai Trent, founder of Tinogana, an organization that builds and repairs schools in rural Zimbabwe, and Oprah Winfrey’s proclaimed “all-time favorite guest.” Community leader and former elected official H. Elizabeth Lenz has been selected as the 2013 Hall of Fame inductee.
