WASHOE COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
The Washoe County District Health officer, Dr. Joseph Iser, will be leaving the Health District due to ongoing health issues. Iser announced his resignation to staff and to the District Board of Health on Thursday, April 25. His resignation is effective immediately.
District Board of Health Chairman Matt Smith said, “The board members and I are sad to see Dr. Iser leave but certainly understand his decision and accept his resignation. We wish him the best with his health and appreciate his contributions to the Washoe County Health District over the past two years.”
