Governor Brian Sandoval today made the following statement after learning of the passing of the Shoshone Paiute Tribe of Duck Valley Tribal Chairman Terry Gibson:
“It is with a heavy heart that Kathleen and I learned of the passing of Chairman Gibson. An experienced and respected leader, Chairman Gibson had a passion for preserving the culture and impacting future generations and he will be missed. Kathleen and I extend our deepest condolences to the Chairman’s family and the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes.”
