The Reno Earth Day Celebration will be on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Idlewild Park (1900 Idlewild Drive, Reno).
On February 27, 2013, the Reno City Council approved $3,600 in in-kind sponsorship for City services for the event.
Sunday’s celebration will educate the public about the Earth we live within, promote sustainable habits, and develop and expand understanding on different perspectives about our world. The community event will include art, music, performances, food, economic development, nature, the environment, education, technology, culture, and diversity.
