“Chairman Terry Gibson was a passionate advocate for his people and I am saddened by the news of his passing. He dedicated his life to ensure that the Shoshone Paiutes had opportunities to thrive for generations to come.  In particular, I was honored to work with him and local leaders on conservation programs and water issues over the years which strengthened the tribal community and helped preserve the natural splendor of Nevada. His commitment to preserving the natural resources, heritage and culture of the Shoshone Paiutes leaves a strong legacy for others to follow.”
