Police request public’s help in identifying La Quinta Inn robbery suspect

Early Sunday, March 31, Reno Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the La Quinta Inn at 4001 Market St. Upon arrival they learned that the business had just been robbed by a two suspects.

One suspect entered the business and pointed a dark-colored handgun at the clerk. The second suspect, armed with a large machete, went behind the counter and emptied the register. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the area in a vehicle described as an 80’s maroon Cadillac Eldorado west from the business driven by an unknown female. The suspects wear wearing masks at the time of the robbery.

The suspects are described as black male adults male, 25 -30 yrs, one suspect was wearing dark blue hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a bright blue windbreaker/hooded sweatshirt.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
