RENO POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE – On March 29 and March 30, the City of Reno Code Enforcement Division, officers from the University of Nevada Police Department, and officers from the Reno Police Department joined forces to address underage drinking. The area of operation was in the surrounding neighborhoods of the University of Nevada. During the two day operation, eight misdemeanor citations were issued and seven people were arrested for various underage drinking violations. The Reno Code Enforcement Division will be dealing with residences in the area that continually have chronic nuisance complaints for large gatherings and underage drinking.
