TMCC students take home ADDY Awards at local competition

awards_index_img1TRUCKEE MEADOWS COMMUNITY COLLEGE NEWS RELEASE TRUCKEE On Friday, graphic communications students at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) racked up 14 local Student ADDY Awards from the 2013 ADDY Awards Ceremony, hosted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Reno. The event was held at EDGE Nightclub at Peppermill Resort Casino and honored the best in the local advertising industry. Amongst the 14 awards, TMCC was awarded “Best in Show” in the student category for visual, illustration, campaign with Angel Rodriguez’ “Follow My Steps.”

The complete list of TMCC’s gold award winners includes the following students: Angel Rodriguez,  Student Best of Show; Alax Vong; and, Kristine Toward. The following students also took home silver ADDY awards: Kristine Toward; Cheyanne Treadway-Thomas; David Bjerre; Vy Tat; Taylor Ketels; and, Alax Vong.
