The Summit welcomes Dan Davis as marketing manager

Dan_DavisSUMMIT NEWS — Dan Davis has been hired as the marketing manager for The Summit, Reno’s 600 thousand-square-foot outdoor lifestyle shopping center, owned and operated by Bayer Properties. Davis fills the role previously held by The Summit’s current general manager, Alexia Bratiotis.

At The Summit, Davis is primarily responsible for local and regional on-property consumer marketing. Davis will help direct the strategic development and implementation of property-specific consumer events and public relations plans. Davis will work closely with Bayer Corporate Marketing and perform the following principal job activities: event marketing, public relations, retailer specific marketing, community development, performance and reporting, leasing, and project and budget management.

The Summit’s general manager, Alexia Bratiotis, is pleased to introduce Davis as the center’s new marketing manager. “Dan has shown through his previous work and community involvement that he has the skill-set and knowledge to succeed within the marketing manager position at The Summit,” said Bratiotis. “We are excited to have Dan on board with The Summit.”

Davis brings more than a decade of award-winning communications and marketing experience from an agency perspective to in-house responsibilities. Davis most recently held the position of public relations business partner at Renown Health in Reno, Nev. In that role, Davis was responsible for the public facing strategic communications, including media relations, social media projects and crisis communications. Davis is an active member of the business community with memberships in Western Industrial Nevada and the local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Davis is also the recent recipient of two Silver Spike Awards including Judges Choice Award and Silver Spike Award.
