SANDOVAL FOR GOVERNOR NEWS RELEASE

governor-sandoval-official-portrait-feb-2011-150x150-6143201-1204349LAS VEGAS – Governor Brian Sandoval today announced that Arlene Rivera will join his 2014 re-election campaign as director of online communications and Hispanic media.

Rivera previously served as a news producer for NBC News 3 (KSNV) and a senior news producer and reporter for Univision.  She has contributed to freelance production projects for major networks such as FOX, CBS, NBC, VH1, MTV, ESPN, CMT, Nickelodeon Network, Telemundo and Univision Network.  Her work includes producing KSNV’s “Wake Up with the Wagner’s” morning show, the noon news broadcast and Univision’s 2008 interviews with then Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

“Arlene brings a wealth of experience and valuable insight to the campaign and I’m excited to have her on the team,” Sandoval said.

In addition to Rivera, Sandoval’s campaign hired Jeremy Hughes in January to serve as campaign manager.  Hughes previously served as Senator Dean Heller’s political director on his 2012 campaign.
