Pro-life group plans Life Chain for Sunday

Date:

40 DAYS FOR LIFE NEWS RELEASE

40 Days for Life Reno Tahoe logoOn Sunday, March 3, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., members of the interfaith Christian community in the Reno area will form a Life Chain at the corner of North Virginia Street and 8th Street in Reno, near the University of Nevada. Volunteers from local churches will line the sidewalks to show their solidarity in opposing the killing of preborn humans as well as the exploitation of their mothers by the abortion industry.

Participants in the Life Chain will be holding signs that proclaim Abortion Kills Children, Jesus Forgives and Heals, Adoption: The Loving Option, Lord Forgive Us and Our Nation, Abortion Hurts Women and Life: The First Inalienable Right. Life Chain is a time for prayerful self-analysis, repentance and serious commitment to helping end abortion in our nation.

This event is held frequently in numerous locations around the country including two Life Chain events typically held in Reno each year in conjunction with the fall and spring 40 Days for Life Campaigns. At the request of previous participants, it has been extended from 1 to 2 hours in duration.
