Bike to Work Week rides again — May 11-17

Date:

wasabi-02Each spring the Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance plans Bike to Work Week to promote cycling in the Truckee Meadows. This year the event is May 11-17. Participants are encouraged to register online for free at www.bikenevada.org and ride their bikes to work and school during the week. The kick-off event for Bike to Work week will be on Sunday, May 12 at the Aces Ballpark for the Bike to the Ball Park day. The Reno Aces will be playing the Iowa Cubs. Anyone who rides bikes to the game will receive a discount ticket and the Reno Bike Project will be valeting bikes for free.

The finale event for the week is the Reno Bike Project’s Pancake Feed on Friday May 17 from 6am-10am. Folks can cycle to the shop at 541 E. 4th Street and eat free bacon, pancakes and enjoy free coffee.
