Walk on the wild side with ‘Creatures’

Creatures #2 The Wilbur D. May Museum’s upcoming exhibit “Creatures” is an all-ages exploration of things that were… things that are… and things that could be! Visitors will come face-to-face with amazing full-size animatronics of wooly mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, dinosaurs and sea monsters.

Audiences will also explore the fact and fiction surrounding creatures like Bigfoot, Tahoe Tessie, dragons and more. The”Creatures” exhibit features educational and interactive elements for kids, including a fossil dig, a glacier simulation display and several touch stations.

Related programming and special events are scheduled throughout the three-month exhibit, including storytelling and arts and crafts for kids, and a lecture series for adults.

When:                                  Saturday, March 2 – Saturday, June 2
Wednesdays – Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sundays, noon – 4 p.m.
