Virginia City presents a full-on Irish testicle festival — the 22nd Annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival — March 16 along C St., the historic town’s main drive. The event, which usually draws more than 3,000 people, includes a culinary festival in which Rocky Mountain oysters – bull calf testicles – are the main dish. A beer garden, live Irish music, individual and team “ball-eating” contests and a leprechaun bar crawl round out the event offerings.
