Continuing efforts to maximize efficiency and streamline processes, the City of Reno now offers emailed invoices and online payment services for the City’s sewer customers who may prefer such a payment option.

The City of Reno’s online bill pay is an easy, cost effective way for residents to view statements, receive bills, and safely make payments online. It is quick, easy, saves paper, and saves postage. Users can set up automatic payments or one-time payments along with paying multiple accounts with one user id. For more information visit Reno.gov/sewerbill.

“It was important for us to choose an online payment option that met our strict requirements for data security, product quality, quality customer service, and affordability,” advised Reno City Manager Andrew Clinger.

On August 22, 2012, the City Council approved a service extension agreement with InfoSend, Inc. for the continuation of printing and mailing the City’s sewer bills, with the additional services of offering emailed invoices, as well as online payment services including automatic and recurring payment options for the City’s sewer customers. The agreement outlines there are no charges by InfoSend, Inc. to implement the email billing or online bill payment system, nor are there any operating charges for the term of the contract. In addition, there is a $.01 per item reduction for each sewer bill on the printing and mailing service.

The City of Reno offers a variety of online services so residents and visitors can interact with the City on their own time, without stepping foot in City Hall. Services included paying parking tickets, paying sewer bills, paying court fees, registering for classes, filing a police report, or entering a service request for Reno Direct. To access the online services visit Reno.gov and select the “Online Services” drop-down menu.
