Date:

image001-7661606-5581789RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada will take on Purdue and Toledo in a pair of two-game football series announced by the schools today.

Nevada will play at Purdue in 2016 with the Boilermakers making a trip to Mackay Stadium in 2019. This will be the first ever meetings between the schools.

The Wolf Pack will play host to Toledo in 2017 and will then travel to play the Rockets in 2018. Toledo holds a 3-0 advantage in the all-time history between the schools, including a 40-37 win in the 1995 Las Vegas Bowl, the first overtime game at the FBS level.

“We are very excited to add Purdue and Toledo to our future schedules,” Nevada coach Brian Polian said. “These two programs have a history of football success and we look forward to competing against both programs.”

With the additions, Nevada now has four non-conference games on the schedule for each season through 2016.
