Parties called on to reach a speedy resolution
In response to litigation filed regarding the updated Tahoe Regional Plan, Assemblyman David Bobzien (D-Reno) issued the following statement:
“I’m disappointed that litigation has been filed on the TRPA regional plan. The new plan is not perfect, but it represents a balanced approach to seeing real environmental gain in the basin. It also ensures that we continue protecting the regional environment through a federally approved bi-state compact that contains important environmental thresholds. I call on the parties to reach a speedy resolution so that we can all move forward in protecting the lake and recommitting to the compact.”
