Blarney Band to perform Saturday at Come in from the Cold series

washoe-150x150-7108745-3000855Washoe County Regional Parks presents the Blarney Band this Saturday, Mar. 2, at Bartley Ranch as part of the 17th season of the popular Come in from the Cold Winter Entertainment Series.

Keith and Dan Shannon are the sound of Blarney and make their home in Truckee, Calif. This father and son duet blends strong harmonious voices with a variety of instruments, bringing together a wonderful presentation of Irish, Scottish and Celtic music.

Every Saturday night through Mar. 9, performers from a wide variety of musical genres, including the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra, will play in the Western Heritage Interpretive Center at Bartley Ranch.

Capacity is limited to 280 persons, and doors open at 5 p.m. The Come in from the Cold series is made available thanks to generous support from the performers, sponsors and audiences. A $3 per person donation is encouraged to help support this and future park programs.
